DELIVERY TIME – Overnight, counter-to-counter: Packages will need to be collected from the post office after 2pm the following day.
PARCEL TRACKING – You will receive a tracking number for your package once it has been dispatched from our premises. To make sure it has arrived before you collect it, you can:

DELIVERY TIME – Up to 5 working days, depending on destination
No deliveries are made on public holidays and / or weekends.
CUT-OFF TIMES – Delivered orders are dispatched at 4pm daily (except weekends and public holidays), provided proof of payment has been received by 2pm that same day. If proof of payment is received after 2pm, your order will only be dispatched at 4pm the following afternoon (except weekends and public holidays).
We will endeavour to have your order delivered on the specified delivery date, however due to delays and circumstances outside of our control we cannot guarantee delivery dates.
Delivery Dates, Unattended Premises & Additional Re-direction Charges
Please make sure that you check prior to ordering that someone will be at the address on the day of delivery. If the nominated place of delivery is unattended at the time delivery is attempted or if delivery cannot otherwise be effected the delivering courier may, without being obliged to do so, leave a calling card requesting the consignee to contact the delivering courier. The package will be stored at the depot for a maximum of seven days. Our courier service will do their best to return to the address the same day, however, an additional delivery charge may apply. Please note that we cannot specify a time of day for delivery. We will endeavour to have your order delivered on the specified delivery date, however due to courier delays and circumstances outside of our control we cannot guarantee delivery dates. The more details you give us the quicker your order will be delivered. Please ensure that the address you have provided is as complete as possible and that a contact number has been provided for the intended recipient.
Seasonal Peak Times
In peak periods such as Christmas and Valentine’s Day we will endeavour to have your order delivered on the specified delivery date, however due to courier delays and circumstances outside of our control we especially cannot guarantee delivery dates at these times of year. Please place orders at these times of year well in advance to avoid any disappointment.
The Black Corset does not yet ship outside of South Africa
The Black Corset does not accept liability in any way whatsoever, for any package that has been tampered with, damaged, lost, stolen and / or confiscated for any reason whatsoever, once it has been dispatched from our premises. All risks associated with delivery, postage and freighting are entirely the responsibility of the purchaser.
Return and Refund Policy
If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do everything to ensure a positive resolution. If we cannot resolve the situation, you can return your goods to us, within 7 days of purchase, along with written communication detailing the reason for the return. Please include your banking details. We will take your motivation into consideration, and pending the outcome of an investigation, you may receive a full refund of the original purchase price. The refund does not include delivery cost and could take up to 7 working days. In the unlikely event that your The Black Corset product/s is/are damaged in transit, please note that a photograph will be required as evidence for the replacement of any damaged goods. If we find that any part of The Black Corset product has been purposely broken and/or tampered with, or partly used, then no refund will be issued for obvious reasons. The Black Corset does not accept liability in any way whatsoever, for any package that has been tampered with, damaged, lost, stolen and / or confiscated for any reason whatsoever, once it has been dispatched from our premises. As The Black Corset, we always try to do our best to bring you the best products from all over the world! Please be aware of the conditions that are related to purchasing our unique handbags, corsets and other unique products
* Please note that we do not keep stock of handbags, corsets and herbal teas - our supplier sends them on demand or upon receipt of an order
* Please allow at least 3 – 4 weeks delivery time after completing your payment as our products are import products (bought outside of South Africa); and not only do we experience delay caused by importing, we also have SA customs to deal with
* Upon placing your order, you will receive an invoice via email and after making your payment, your order is confirmed and you should await your tracking number or delivery confirmation (depending on the type of shipping selected). The Black Corset will keep you up to date and provide you with a tracking number regarding all pending orders.
